Better civic activity makes life better.
We (help people) do (even more) civics
We do civics.
… Do you ???
Civics Siv-icks (n) - The study of responsibilities and privileges of citizenship.

But there’s always
Effort Required
And we hope everyone chips in with effort!
Civics without action is empty.
Visiting sites like this is a step in the right direction.
Just imagine a world
where everyone meets
their civic obligations!
The civics of a society require that you take action just to simply belong.
We’re not Facebook. We don’t have millions in resources, servers, coders, and active users. But we have something they’ll never have again.
We seek to grow trust every second, every hello.
We will work hard every interaction, every moment, to keep, earn, and build trust with every person in the whole world. Obviously, we will fall short. But we will always try, and we will own our mistakes with honesty and humility and then, anew, try once again to build trust.
That means respect for every human being is essential to everything we do. If we collect data, we will ask in plain (non-lawyer) language. If we ask to add you to a mailing list, it will be an ask, and never a gimmick or coercive move. Shouldn’t everyone act this way? We think so. But we’re here to serve #WeThePeople
Why do people visit?
Okay, I’m here at the site now. What next?
1) ask yourself if you think that your society should govern itself. Hopefully, your answer is "yes". 2) If you live in a nation that is essentially a democracy, ask yourself who is responsible to do that? You might be inclined to say "My Senators & Representatives & President" if you live in the USA. Great. Are you satisfied with the job that has been done lately? Hmm...Maybe it is time to **Get involved**. 3) Get involved. 4) Get even more involved 5) Yep. Even more involved. What group is the ultimate power in a government that Abraham Lincoln described as "Of the People, By the People, and For the People"? Yes, #WeThePeople. We are not saying *you* have to run for Congress, although the founder of this site did once do that. (Just once...He's not a super-masochist!!) Seriously, there is no snap-your-fingers, fix-things-tomorrow fix. It just doesn't exist. What can you do? Start learning about the system, and how it is supposed to work. Learn about how it wasn't working in 2023, 2024, 2015, 2017, etc. Yes, there were things broken. Does that mean you throw out the system? And if you're going to throw something out, what alternative are you going to replace it with? Perhaps that's the #1 thing: If you're going to throw out the old system, come up with something better **BEFORE YOU THROW OUT THE OLD THING**. Of the people who were highly involved in the election process, a high percentage of them voted for Kamala Harris. A huge chunk of the "just barely involved" folks appear to have voted for Trump. That's how democracy works, baby! That doesn't mean I love it. But that is how democracy works! Get involved! Get connected! Educate yourself about how the system works? If only there was a website dedicated to the privileges and responsibilities of citizenship (like this one right here....) So...Can we ask you to consent to A) check this website say once a month? B) follow the blog both of OnCivics and of the founder? C) Watch some of our YouTube content? D) get involved with local democracy meetings and party meetings (go to both or even 3rd party meetings - but know what principles you stand for!!!) And so on? Who are we? We are the people in charge of the government of the people, for the people, and by the people.
